| What are the clothing
requirements? |
| Nothing
revealing, minimal metal such as buttons,
zippers etc... No bib overalls, under
wire bras, or hairpins. Skirts and shorts
must be 1” above the knee when standing. |

| What ID is needed? |
| One picture ID
such as a driver’s license, Benefits card,
work ID. Children need birth certificate. |

| Is there an age limit
for children? |
| No. |

| Can I bring someone
else’s child? |
| Yes, as long
as you have a letter of permission and the
child’s birth certificate. |
| |
| Can I bring food to the
visitor room? |
| No, but there
are vending machines in the visitor room. |
| |
| Can I bring package food
for the inmate? |
| Yes, but it
must be in manufacturing packaging. |

| How much food can I
bring? |
| You may bring
or mail 2 20 lb. food packages a year. Thirty
five pounds a month is the amount if it is
shipped from the retail store. (For example: Wegman’s) |

| What are the guidelines
for can types and sizes? |
| The maximum
size for canned items is 16 ounces. |
| |
| What can I take into the
visitor’s room? |
| Picture ID,
money for vending machines, playing cards
and religious reading material. (For
example: Bible, prayer books) |

| Where can visitors store
their belongings while visiting the inmate? |
| Lockers are
available by using a quarter to retain the
key. The money is refunded when the key is
returned. |

| How long will it be
before visitor’s can go upstairs to visit? |
| Usually, the
CO’s are calling off the daily visitor list
around 8:30 a.m. |
| |
| How long are the visits? |
| 9 a.m. -3 p.m.
7 days a week. Visits for Reception on weekends are ended at 2:30 pm. |

| How many can visit the
inmate? |
| No more than
three unless there is a small child that can
stay on someone’s lap for the entire visit.
The child must be 2 yrs old or younger.
There are only four seats at a table. |

| Is chewing gum allowed? |
| No. |

| Are cell phones allowed
in the facility? |
| Cell phones are NOT allowed
in ECF but may be left in lockers at IHC. |
